I'm a crazy sweeper-I see a contest, I enter it no matter what it is {within reason LOL}.

I FINALLY got not one, but two issues of my favorite magazine, Yoga Journal, in the mail this week after patiently waiting a little over a month {Well, since before Christmas}.

This was another one of those deals I got that I'm really proud of xD

I believe I ended up spending about $0.98 after all was said and done!

On an off note, isn't that pose she's doing FANTASTIC!? I can't wait until I'm able to do it ^.^

Chicago Bears for the WIN

I'm not a big sports fan...Okay, rewind:: The better phrase to describe me is I don't like sports at all.

It's not that they aren't interesting in their own right, but I just have no will to learn, watch, or follow them.

That's just me though.

However, being from Illinois, there are a few sports related things that have been instilled in me no matter how much I dislike sporting miscellaneous. Some of which are::

*Hunting and fishing ARE sports.
*Hunting and fishing are MY sports.
*Socks or Cubs--Cubs
*Die-hard Bears fan
*Die-hard Packers nemesis

As you can tell, this post is regarding the last two-Since we live close to the Wisconsin border, we're surrounded by many Packers fans and it gets pretty rivaled, especially when both teams happen to play together.

If you're a football fan or follower, you know the Bears and the Packers are playing today, right now, for a spot in the Superbowl.

THE SUPERBOWL!

We haven't played in the Superbowl since the 1980's, so this is a BIG game-So big in fact, that many local businesses aside from the bars, are closing for the day to catch the game.

What is the whole point of this post if I don't even like sports?

Well, I still gotta support my team!

Today's question is:

If you were to go back to school right now, money and time no object, what would you want to study and why?

This is definitely a fair question to ask of college students-I mean, you DO have to choose a major eventually. Even if you're not a student going to college, it's a fair question because your answer is what YOU'RE interested in. If it's something makes you happy, we can conclude that it's one of your passions in life :)

For me, I'm planning on double majoring: Biology and Computer Sciences. Why those two completely different subjects?

Well, I REALLY want to be a naturopathic doctor which is where the Biology comes in {I want to have the background on the body and how it works}, but naturopathic doctors really don't make that much money, which is why I'd get a Computer Science degree because 1.) computers are the future and jobs are plentiful when you graduate, 2.) It's a solid career that, if picked up by the right company, can make you a lot of money, and 3.) I'm such a geek and absolutely love computers xD

Today marks a very special day::

The love of my life turns 20 years old!!

I can't believe it's been 5 1/2 short months already that we've been together-It just doesn't even seem possible that our 6 month is coming up in less then 2 weeks, but at the same time, it feels like we've been together so much longer then that :)

He makes me smile even when I don't feel like I can. He comforts me and never shies away from my pain and tears. He spoils me rotten even when I tell him not to. When I'm feeling silly, he joins in on the fun. He's such a hopeless romantic, but you don't see me complaining! When I look into his eyes, I can see just how much he loves me. He makes my life much more brighter and wonderful with all these things and SO much more. For that, I am truly thankful for him each and every day.

Health Update Thursday(1/20)

You wanna know how I started my day today?

I went to sleep around 1:30 am last night, and pretty much had a great night's sleep despite my wake-up-several-times-during-the-night mentality. I woke up this morning around 9:30 am and you wanna know the first thing I did when my eyes opened?

The moment I opened my eyes to wake up from my pretty great night's sleep, I rolled over, reached for the bucket besides my bed {how sad is it that I always keep a bucket by my bed now?}, and tossed my cookies O.o

FIRST thing right when I woke up.

Lovely, no?

I continued to toss said cookies for about a half an hour and then fell back asleep until noon.

Needless to tell all of you, I think I have a flu-The boyfriend said there was a 24 hour thing going around and since I was in school yesterday around many, many germy people, I had no problem coming to the conclusion that I picked something up.

Thank GOD I don't have class again until Monday!

I'll be around today. I think this is all you're going to get from me today though, so enjoy the rest of your Thursday :)

My New Addition xD

Let me tell you a story of a day when my boyfriend and I rented Toy Story 3::

His mum had wanted to see Toy Story 3 for awhile, so him and I went out to a local Redbox and rented it so we could all watch it together-Of course I had seen it in theaters when it came out, but it had been awhile since I saw it, so I was pretty excited!

On an off note, it's SUCH a cute movie so if you haven't seen it yet, I highly suggest you do :)

Anyway, there is a scene around the middle of the movie where Woody is in a little girl's room getting acquainted with her toys before she comes running back from the bathroom. Among the toys was a girl dinosaur, a ragdoll, a hedgehog, three peas-in-a-pod, and my personal favorite.....A TOTORO STUFFED ANIMAL!

{If you're not familiar with Totoro, he's a huge cute and cuddly rabbit type creature from one of my favorite director's films, My Neighbor Totoro}

As we sit there watching the movie, I start dancing in my seat yelling, "OMG, IT'S TOTORO! LOOK JAKE, IT'S TOTORO!"

I think I may have even giggled a few times O.o

Well my friends, that was nearly 2 or 3 months ago. Why am I telling you this funny and potential black-mail instilling story? Well, I have a new addition in my life.....


That is correct:: My lovely, amazing, totally oh-so-sweet boyfriend went online, spent a couple hours searching, found AND bought me a Totoro stuffed animal because he remembered how excited I got when watching the movie xD

I seriously almost cried when he gave him to me-And the best part is he bought him for me just because. No special occasion needed he said.

My whole family think he's the ugliest thing they've ever seen, but I don't care! I love him so much xD
