Unique Earrings from the UK-WeeSparrow

So, as implied above, you may have figured out that Lola lives in the United Kingdom! However, her current residence just outside of Newcastle upon Tyne hasn't always been her home-"Now, I live with my husband Richard and our lurcher, Millie, but I was born and raised in North Carolina. I have lived in England since 2003(married an Englishman). "

Working as a full-time staff development officer for a local council, Etsy is one of Lola's part-time hobbies-Even though she is one of those people who really loves her job and colleagues, she has some pretty lofty dreams; Like winning the lottery and taking up her art full time(Me too, Me too)! Of course we can't always count on winning the lottery, so as of right now, Lola is happy with what she's doing :)

If you take a stroll through her shop, you can tell what her main focus is on: Earrings. However, from time to time she likes to whip out those needles and do a little crocheting to keep her occupied. Apparently several of her woman co-workers have had babies, so there is many baby booties and beanies to make! Lol

Focusing on her jewelry for a minute, you can see that Lola uses many different things in her lovely designs, some of which consist of lots of Czech glass and semi-precious gemstones and even vintage beads; "I love the thought of taking something old and giving it a new lease on life. Right now, I'm wearing a pair of earrings made from a broken Bakelite necklace and I love thinking about the woman who wore these beads when they were new..."

Something that's quite interesting about Lola is most of her inspirations come from the beads and materials she works with-She's even inspired to create 'themes' with her earrings!
